Company Auditions

Company Prospective Meeting 

WAB II COMPANY AUDITIONS
Wednesday, May 21, 2025
4701 Grand Avenue, Fort Smith, AR 72904

Ages 9-12
Audition Class – 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Cost - $35

Candidates for company positions must be 9 years old at the time of audition or have completed the 3rd grade with two years of ballet. The dress code for the audition class is a black leotard, pink tights, and ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled away from the face in a nice bun for girls. Boys are to wear black tights or shorts, white t-shirt and ballet shoes. 
The 2025-2026 WAB II performing season includes the 40th Annual production of The Nutcracker, a fall performance, Spring Ballet,  Dance Fusion, and Spring Dance Concert.
Each company member, after acceptance by the adjudication committee, will be required to attend three 90-minute ballet technique classes per week (including one WAB II Company class), pre-pointe or pointe and a modern dance class for their level.

Ages 12 & up (If 12, must audition for WAB II first)                
Audition Class – 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Cost - $35

Candidates for company positions must be at least 12 years of age or have completed the 6th grade and have at least three years of ballet experience.  The dress code for the audition class is a black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes, pointe shoes (for those with at least one year of pointe class) and hair pulled away from face in a nice bun for women.  Men are to wear black tights, white or black t-shirt and ballet shoes. 
The 2025-2026 Western Arkansas Ballet Company’s performing season includes the 40th Annual production of The Nutcracker, a fall performance, Spring Ballet, Dance Fusion, the Regional Dance America/Southwest Festival, and Spring Dance Concert.
Each company member, after acceptance by the adjudication committee, will be required to attend classes four to five times per week including ballet, pointe, and a modern class as well as rehearsals two to four times per week.
