Nutcracker Ballet Camp is an excellent preparation opportunity for dancers interested in auditioning for WAB’s 2026 presentation of The Nutcracker.

Ballet Camps Each day will feature a ballet technique class, study explorations about music, dance history, nutrition, creative expression, mime, dance vocabulary, crafts, and a dance at the end of the week for family and friends.

Elevé Camp This camp is an opportunity for your young dancer to elevate themselves. The camp expands their ballet abilities and knowledge. An extended technique class and a supplementary lesson to help improve all aspects of their dance training are included each day. Lessons include a stage makeup class, hair class, vocabulary lesson, and a fun ballet jeopardy game on the last day. Your dancer will learn different works of choreography from our Nutcracker and other Ballets performed at WAB with a showing for family and friends on the last day. This camp is a fun way for your dancer to see what is coming next in their dance training.

Jazz Camp will cover jazz fundamentals. The class will consist of a warm-up, stretching, technique work, and a short studio performance on the last day of dance camp.

Lorraine Cranford Summer Dance Workshop

Workshop Classes: Monday, June 1-Thursday, June 4. Studio performance, Thursday, June 4

Lorraine Cranford Summer Dance Workshop (LCSDW) features daily classes and rehearsals in ballet and classical partnering with guest instructors, personalized attention, and studio performance. This intensive workshop is for students ages 12 and up with a minimum of two years of classical ballet training.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due
Cost: $300 if registered by May 7 ,2026.
$350 total if registered after May 7, 2026.
